Dr. Moon Kim is a Managing Partner and Chief Analyst at Rational Futures, a firm that provides analysis to corporate and government leaders on economic issues in advanced technology sectors. Prior to Rational Futures, Dr. Kim was at NASA Headquarters Office of the Chief Financial Officer’s Strategic Insights and Budget, where he focused on analyzing agency’s investment priorities, evaluating financial capability of private sector companies, and developing statistical models to inform NASA’s strategic decisions. Prior to joining NASA HQ, Dr. Kim worked at the RAND Corporation, working on topics related to space policy, defense policy, and efficient acquisition. His prior positions also include the financial industry at Morgan Stanley and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Dr. Kim holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland, an M.A. in International Science and Technology Policy from the George Washington University, and a Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from the RAND School of Public Policy.
